Privacy Policy

Effective date: 1 November 2026

Outfitted helps you decide what to wear from what you already own, and connects you with real personal stylists. To do that, we need a little information about you. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We’ve kept it as plain as we can.

Outfitted is operated by Outfitted Co Pty Ltd (ABN 55 690 713 770), based in Sydney, Australia (“Outfitted”, “we”, “us”). This policy covers out-fitted.com, the Outfitted quiz, the Outfitted Hub, the Outfitted styling booking service, and any emails we send you.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

  • The quiz and the Hub only need your style answers and an email address. Nothing is recorded on video and we don’t ask for photos.

  • Styling sessions need a bit more: your booking details, payment, and a video call with your stylist that is transcribed so we can prepare your notes.

  • We never sell your information.

1. The Outfitted quiz and Outfitted Hub

What we collect

Your quiz answers: the type of outfits you want to see (women’s, men’s or all gender), the occasions you’re dressing for, the model you choose to view outfits on, your style swipes, the clothes you tell us you own, and your preferences and exclusions.

Your Outfitted Hub: the outfits you save, like or dislike, and the filters you use.

Your email: the email address you give us to see and save your outfits, and whether you’ve ticked the box to hear from us.

Sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile picture, plus a unique Google account ID so we can recognise you next time (see section 3).

The model you choose is a display choice. It isn’t a photo of you and we don’t treat it as information about your body. We don’t ask for photos of you or your wardrobe. If we add features that use photos in future, we’ll update this policy and ask for your permission first.

You can use a guest account if you’d rather not connect Google.

How we use it
  • To build your outfit suggestions and show you clothes that suit your style and occasions.

  • To save your outfits in the Outfitted Hub so you can come back to them.

  • To improve our recommendations and fix anything clunky.

  • To send you marketing emails, but only if you’ve ticked the box (see section 4).

Your outfit suggestions are generated automatically from your quiz answers. They’re style ideas only and don’t affect your rights or access to anything.

2. Outfitted styling sessions

What we collect when you book

Your booking: your name, email, phone number, age, gender, any notes you share about your style goals, and your booking details (date, time, stylist, session type).

Payment: payments are processed by Stripe. We see that a payment was made and its amount, but never your full card details.

Your session: A written transcript of your session with your stylist, and a summary of it.

Video sessions and transcripts

Styling sessions run on Google Meet, so you don’t need to download anything. Each session is transcribed, but video isn’t recorded or saved. We’ll ask for your consent when you book, and Google Meet shows that transcription is on when the session starts.

We use an AI tool (Claude, made by Anthropic) to summarise your transcript, so we can prepare your notes and follow up after your session. Your transcript isn’t used to train AI models. We also use transcripts to check the quality and safety of our service. Transcripts and summaries are shared only with your stylist and the Outfitted team. You can ask us for a copy of your transcript. If you’re not comfortable with your session being transcribed, let us know before your session.

Sharing with your stylist

Your stylist receives your name, email, phone, booking details, your quiz results and saved outfits, anything you told us when booking (such as your age and gender), and your session transcript and summary. Stylists are independent professionals. They may only use your information to prepare for and deliver your session.

3. Google user data

If you choose Sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We use this only to create your account, sign you in, and personalise your Outfitted experience (for example, greeting you by name).

  • We don’t access your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendar or any other Google data.

  • We don’t sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the service providers who host our platform.

  • We don’t use Google user data to train AI models.

  • Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

You can disconnect Outfitted from your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections, and ask us to delete your account (section 9).

4. Marketing emails

We only send marketing emails if you’ve opted in by ticking the box when you give us your email. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email privacy@out-fitted.com. We’ll still send you service emails, like your outfits or booking confirmations, because they’re part of using Outfitted.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar tools to keep you signed in, remember your quiz progress, and understand how the site is used.

  • Google Analytics tells us which pages are popular and where people drop off. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt out add on.

  • Shopping links. We may link to products from retailers. In future some of these may be affiliate links, which means the retailer may set a cookie so we earn a small commission if you buy. We’ll never share your name or email with them.

We don’t record your screen or replay what you do on the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, like staying signed in, may not work without them.
